Which Adonit Stylus is the Best for Annotating PDFs?

Here’s a verdict from Adela Wee, an engineer,  roboticist and Whink user:

“I realized after the first week of 3 hour lectures for 3 consecutive nights that I couldn’t keep up with just taking notes on my notebook. It’s really hard to draw the charts and things that are shown in the power points! I could go to the library before each class and print notes, or buy a printer, but in the long run, was that going to be the best way of keeping all my notes in one place? Plus, the cost of printing notes (let’s say 2 slides x sheet at $0.40/sheet and an average lecture is about 60 slides) meant I’d be spending (for a 12-week semester) about $36 a week, or buy a printer ($80-120 for a laser printer with an initial cartridge of ~700 pg capacity) or buy a stylus (anywhere from $30-50).

The Jot Dash was just released but I couldn’t get my hands on one til today. It’s an active stylus (no bluetooth, though) and was much lighter (and longer and skinnier) than the Jot Pro.

I’ve now been using the Jot Pro for the past week as all of my slide annotations were done with it, and here are some samples (I was frantically jotting everything down in the Whink app on my gen 4(late 2012) iPad that has a matte screen protector and and you can see what quality I’m getting from it.) ”
